The chat box, that is usually in the bottom left corner of the game screen, and shows the text from what your typing, does not show my text... The box is still there, but it does not show what I type, or what anyone else types... Can anyone help me?

I'd recommend trying:

/resetchat

If that does not help, I'd refer to and follow the steps listed here (according to Operating System):
