No more meeting stones? :(

When the new LFG system comes out will meetings stones, the most innovative and useful mechanism in the game, be removed? I for one DEMAND that they remain in game! I know that for myself, and dozens of others, meeting stones are the center of an entire play style. Just like, PvP, raiding, twinking, PKing, exploring, socializing, and role playing, “meet stoning” is an integral and incredibly fun thing to do in this game.

Using the meeting stones is ALL I do with my lv 60’s and it is the only way people with little time can get epics (I totally have a social life BTW… gf, job… whatever else normal people do…). If you remove meeting stones from the game, then I will be canceling my account… well… actually I won’t. But if I threatened to do it, there’s at least 3-5 million others who would actually go through with it.

Half your player base or the new LFG system. Take your pick blizz.

Meeting Stones will now be able to be used to summon other group members to you. You need two people to do it but you can summon one group member at a time by using the stone.

So no, they won't be going away. They will have an added use.

Is there something wrong with having world pvp?

You will have a choice. Either you have some people waiting at the stone like sitting ducks, you have warlocks summon you to somewhere close and clean things out or you all fly to the closest point and ride in together. That's the beauty of PvP. There are so many choices to make! ;)
