I thought if you got the A. Pass you would be able to be in the beta for MOP. Am I missing something here ? I hope I do get to do the beta, but who knows what Blizzard is going to do ?

You will be getting into the beta if you have an Annual Pass. Don't worry. We just got the beta up last night and while we've already done some invites, we have a lot more to do.

Here's the question I think that most pertains to you:

I am participating in the World of Warcraft Annual Pass promotion; when do I begin testing?

We’re inviting Annual Pass holders in waves over the course of the beta test, and will be ramping up the number of invites we send as quickly as possible. We’ll be inviting Annual Pass holders based on several factors, including how long your World of Warcraft account has been active and when you signed up for the Annual Pass. Keep an eye on your Battle.net account and email for your invite to join the beta test.

Please note that our Customer Service department cannot help with flagging accounts for the beta and is not able to tell you exactly when you will be invited.

We're very aware that everyone is expecting to be in as soon as possible and we're committed to doing what we can to make that happen. We just ask that everyone is a little patient as we make that happen.

I don't have a timeline to share with you at this time, but we'll do our best to communicate when these waves of invites happen; even if it's to help players avoid potential phishing scams. (When in doubt please check your Battle.net account.) We'll make sure to work on it on our end at the least and do our best.

Don't even start that up. You have to realize that the CMs are getting constantly hounded "Where's my invite?" "WHERE IS IT?" "I WANT IT NOW!" "YOU PROMISED IT!" countless threads being made regarding it. There was nothing about his response that seemed short. He closed that thread since there have been at the very least over 100 threads posted on this subject. Besides, I wouldn't blame him or Neth or any other CM that lost their temper over this. I'm pretty sure the GMs are getting countless tickets in too about this. I can only imagine the kind of phone calls Customer service is getting. ._.

Beta invites started yesterday evening. They JUST started. Just be a little patient.

I don't care WHEN I get an invite. That's not my point.

I understand that there may be tension, but they're used to dealing with tension and defusing it would work better if they directed everyone to ONE thread and shut down the others. :)

I've read their responses to other threads that pointed to others and weren't short in the slightest. This one seems so to me. That's my opinion, you have yours. The reality may be that he's not feeling angry at all, but that's how it came across to me. Maybe some other players, who will go and make ANOTHER thread about it because they got locked.

We value your feedback on these things and if he seemed short, I'm sure it wasn't intended. We've been doing a little juggling on our end to get things rolling and we'll have a lot more to do before we're done. :) As I said, we'll do our best to keep everyone informed and, yes, we'll be trying to trim down the number of threads about beta access if only to consolidate that discussion.

I'm not trying to troll or flame here. Just looking forward to seeing this kick booty expansion in beta.
