This is still the case, Skallenek. I believe the 'issue' you are experiencing is when you enter a raid instance that already killed a boss. Entering a dungeon that already has a boss defeated will indeed save you to the raid. This was done to ensure the integrity of the Raiding system; many things were — for the lack of a better word — exploited. But, I will not get into that now. This system was implemented quite a long time ago to fix some of the issues mentioned previously.

If you feel that anything regarding this system should be changed, you will want to share your thoughts on our Suggestions forum, found here: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.html?forumId=11122&sid=1 .

You get saved going into the instance when the gate opens. You don't have to kill a boss to be saved.

Yes, but when one is discussing a specific matter, one should mention those specifics. While this may be the case with Zul'Aman, it is still once again a design choice. As there is a timer, and an event involved with the ringing of the Gong, one might be more picky about who you party with. Also, again, if anyone would like something changed regarding the system, they are more than welcome to share their ideas through the appropriate facets.
