Customer not satisfied with Blizz

Hi,

My name is Renato Moreira, I´m from Brazil, a far, far away land as you know. I´m very disappointed with Blizzard services, and not satisfied at all. We all here, I and my friends, are thinking seriously in leave WoW as soon as Warhammer or Age of Connan come out. Why? you ask. I will answer:

1. The Rogue Forums are dead
It´s about one month now that any Blizz Poster post anything in the forums. Plus, they almost always answer with jokes, kidding around as if we were fools. The problems are there, we post the problem and they say either "working as intended" or "we will look into this". Pssh... the Vanish issue is there since TBC came out. Enough said.

2. The Rogue Class is broken
Every rogue knows this: we are a broken class. We can´t fulfill our role in the game ´cause of the various nerfs we suffered and bugs that are there since WoW came out. We are like warriors, but less HP, less armor, less everything. Our class defining ability, stealth, is a joke and our defining weapon, dagger, is unthinkable as a valid (and sane) choice. Better remove the entire class in the game and start over.

I will not point the lag issues, ´cause we know Brazil is far away from California and our internet infrastructure is very poor; and the high prices practiced here, ´cause we also know that our country charges one of the highest taxes of the world (no kidding), so we pay 4 times the price charged there.
I´m only asking for God´s sake to look for your customers, even we that don´t live in USA. I´m very unsatisfied with WoW mostly because we say and aren´t heard. We ask and aren´t answered. If things were different, it could have one million bugs and issues that, with you answering and hearing us, they would be fixed.

Thx for the attention.

EDIT: You all should see this video. It shows how bugged Vanish is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdACpngR_fQ

There are only three forum groups within this entire collective which can be roughly classified as "active" and are likely to provide some form of interaction with Blizzard representatives: General Discussion, Role Discussions (Tanking, Healing, and Damage Dealing), and Support (Bug Report, Mac Support, Technical Support, and Customer Service). The first two groups, General and Role Discussion, are largely are considered meeting grounds and a hub for information only; while one's chances of interacting with a Community Manager (Nethaera, Eyonix, Bornakk, etc) or a developer (Ghostcrawler) are exponentially greater within, response is not guaranteed. The latter group is staffed with Quality Assurance, Tech Support, and Game Master representatives appointed specifically to address those issues expressed by concerned players but not to touch upon matters of development or design.

Community Managers are not customer service representatives; they are liaisons, charged with the responsibility of communicating player-provided concepts, understandings, and grievances to our development team. While visibly interacting with our player base is an excellent means of clarifying a particular point or gaining more comprehensive data, it is not often necessary to their role.

How does this apply to Rogue Discussion? As your peers have stated, Community Managers are not "assigned" to specific classes; they will peruse and take note accordingly, relaying anything pertinent back to key developers, producers, and designers. Should one forum possess more responses than another—well, that will depend greatly on those issues discussed within each board; some will merit active discussion from a "blue" and others will not. In the end, it's always helpful to remember that a lack of response does not = a lack of attention. Heck, those posts you've deemed as simple "kidding around" should serve as a reminder that even the most asinine of topics are reviewed. :)

There are players within every class that believe it to be underpowered; that every defining spell or ability is inadequate, useless, or severely crippling. In response, they are an equal amount of players from differing classes that will deem it and its defining attributes as overpowered. While there are points which will sync up and prove valid, the majority of expressed complaints and grievances fall victim to conjecture and isolated experience. You say rogues are broken; I say I cannot compete with them in any capacity within a PvP environment. It is the responsibility of our developers and designers to not only separate such fluff from the fact, but create a means by which to harmonize any potential changes on a global level—a task which is not easy, and one that is certainly not kind to the idea of instant gratification.

That said, you need to voice these ideas and opinions within the appropriate locations: Rogue Discussion and the Suggestions Forum. I've already covered that they are read, so what are you waiting for. ;)

Let's discuss the matter using appropriate language, Terminusest. Thank you.
