Jeian, as Tandaa said, it shouldn’t take all that much time to be sent to the players registered e-mail address. Note; you can only send invitations through this program to someone who previously subscribed to World of Warcraft, also they much have 90 days passed on all paid subscription and played time in the game (this includes any previous time playing The Burning Crusade Trial).

After you type in your friend's e-mail address registered to the account that you wish to bring back (or character name and realm), they should receive an e-mail that looks something like this:

Upon clicking the link at the top, or the Acceptance link at the bottom of that e-mail, your friend will be forwarded to the Scroll of Resurrection Confirmation Page, which says something along the lines of:

Welcome back to World of Warcraft! There are a few things you need to know before you resurrect your account and receive your FREE 10 Days:

• To keep playing once the trial period ends, you will need to reactivate your subscription. You can do so by logging in to Account Management.
• This trial period is only available to you ONCE. Your 10-Day Trial period begins once you click "Confirm" below.
• Once you upgrade your account to the Burning Crusade Trial, please be aware that you will need to download and install The Burning Crusade client before you can log into World of Warcraft. You will not be able to log in without a Burning Crusade client during the trial period.
• The download and installation process can sometimes take a while to complete, depending on the speed of your internet connection.

Followed by a large button in the middle that says Confirm. After that, your friend should see a listing of system requirements, and a link where he would be able to download The Burning Crusade, if he did not already have it.


Once your friend has selected confirm from that page, you will be sent onto a new page that should say Success! and have a green box with the following information:

At this point, your friend’s account should then be able to log into the game, regardless of whether or not he had The Burning Crusade expansion already installed, and his account had already been upgraded.
