Im looking at some old news right now and Im wondering how come there is no information about Warden indicated in the game when you buy it. Apparently the program is watching for more than 3rd party programs runing while I'm playing World of Warcraft. It apprently records information in my chat sessions my emails the visited websites and more. Im wish to play this game longer but I canceled my account because you apprently can't keep your eyes on ur own crap. Warden is not going to tell me when and how to use my computer neither is going to break in my privacy. You have the right to protect your game content and I have the right to protect my privacy and there is no law neither in Canada or in the US that allows you to do so wich makes ur statement for that reason in your TOS non valid and also that in the TOS you do not specify the secondary abilities of Warden clearly also.

As already stated, Aouitamere, we couldn't care less what websites you are going to, your e-mail, or any other private information on your computer.

All chat in-game can be reviewed at anytime, but we don't randomly scan what you are saying, we only look if we are investigating a violation of the Terms of Use, such as when we receive a report that you used inappropriate language and must verify that you indeed did use such language.

The language in the Terms of Use that may prove useful is below. I apologize for the caps, that is how that section is printed. :)
Q u o t e:

# WHEN RUNNING, THE PROGRAM MAY MONITOR YOUR COMPUTER'S RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY (RAM) AND/OR CPU PROCESSES FOR UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAMS RUNNING CONCURRENTLY WITH WORLD OF WARCRAFT. AN "UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM" AS USED HEREIN SHALL BE DEFINED AS ANY THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY "ADDON" OR "MOD," THAT IN BLIZZARD'S SOLE DETERMINATION: (i) ENABLES OR FACILITATES CHEATING OF ANY TYPE; (ii) ALLOWS USERS TO MODIFY OR HACK THE WORLD OF WARCRAFT INTERFACE, ENVIRONMENT, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IN ANY WAY NOT EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZED BY BLIZZARD; OR (iii) INTERCEPTS, "MINES," OR OTHERWISE COLLECTS INFORMATION FROM OR THROUGH THE PROGRAM. IN THE EVENT THAT THE PROGRAM DETECTS AN UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM, BLIZZARD MAY (a) COMMUNICATE INFORMATION BACK TO BLIZZARD, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION YOUR ACCOUNT NAME, DETAILS ABOUT THE UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM DETECTED, AND THE TIME AND DATE THE UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAM WAS DETECTED; AND/OR (b) EXERCISE ANY OR ALL OF ITS RIGHTS UNDER SECTION 6 OF THIS AGREEMENT, WITH OR WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE TO THE USER.

You of course will do what you feel you must but the "ZOMG, they are scanning my files!" accusations are simply untrue.

Good luck to you.

Honestly I don't know anything about the program, Elzix, so I can't say for certain. It doesn't sound like it interferes with wow, all it does it monitor what is happening on your computer.

Just because something doesn't "interfere" with WoW, that doesn't mean it okay... Packet sniffers, for example, don't "interfere" with WoW, but they are not allowed to be run at the same time as the game (says the EULA and ToU).

Just saying...

Agreed. You would know better than I, Azazrael.
