However when I tried to do the quest it said I had already done it, I am going to assume that this is a bug on behalf of blizzard and they sent everyone the Gift Box you get whenever you make a toon with a Collectors Edition Key.

Or maybe they actually tried to give us who have collectors editions something cool but they screwed it up.

Does anyone know?

This is indeed one of those so-called "bugs" many folks herein like to talk about. ;)

While I'm very sorry for the confusion, Drekx, I can assure you that you've not missed out on any form of additional pet; you've merely been re-sent a voucher for an item which has likely been already redeemed. Feel free to delete said mail at your leisure!
