Hey,

Ever notice how when you enter a raid instance you're not being charged by the residence of said instance? No, they only attack when somebody runs up to the them and stabs them with a pointed stick, or some cases, a sword (I don't rely on gear in raids, just sticks and stuff I find on the ground). The monsters aren't doing any harm, they're just sitting there in their own little room minding their own business, all nice nice.

Sure enough, a group of MEAN and ANGRY people meet inside of these monster's homes - without permission of the home owner mind you - plotting the monsters demise. Assuming good intentions, the monsters go back to their work, peaceful as can be, when all of a sudden one of these intruders shoots him! Not only is such behaviour considered rude (at least where I come from), but it also hurts.

Throughout the course of this "raid" on these poor creatures homes, the group of MEAN and ANGRY people go on a murderous rampage, killing everything in their path. Eventually they come across one resident so fed up with the group of ANGRY MEANIES that he/she gets sooooo upset that he/she runs to his/her weapon closet to battle said group. The ANGRY MEANIES then proceed to kill the armed monster, and LOOT THAT PORTION OF THE HOUSE. WTF! This of course continues until the ANGRY MEANIES get bored or rob the house clean.

In closing, we are nothing more than burlgars and murderers.

OH one more thing:

I'm an idiot. An extremely bored idiot. TBC has 78% left to go. Woo.

Sincerly,

I like the term "Raider" better.

raid (rād) Pronunciation Key
n.
1. A surprise attack by a small armed force.
2. A sudden forcible entry into a place by police: a raid on a gambling den.
3. An entrance into another's territory for the purpose of seizing goods or valuables.

Q u o t e:

I don't think #1 applies, usually if a huge group of people getting ready to jump me is standing about 50 yards away just sitting there plotting, I tend to know something is about to happen and not continue on completely oblivious.

Being that this is a game, I'd like to hope there is some measure of the suspension of disbelief. ;)

I'll suspend my disbelief when you stop making me do poop collection quests. ;)

Well someone has to do it!
