Key-like objects?

Any chance items like the Scepter of Celebras, Mallet of Zul'farrak, or Drakefire Amulet can be put on the keyring any time in the future? It's really annoying to have to use up precious bankspots on these items, but I also don't feel good about destroying them in case I ever need to help a lowbie friend out.
We don't plan to change these items but are being more careful about how we've approached keys since.
