Logitech G11 Gaming Keyboard

I am getting a Logitech G11 Gaming Keyboard. I read somewhere that the software that comes with this keyboard to program the game keys, is considered 3rd party software that can get your account banned. Now, this is no different than the Nostromo n52 game Speedpad as far as I can tell...

So what's the policy on these?
