Day one of the BlizzCon 2011 Global Invitational Tournaments featured a series of incredible conflicts and mind-blowing displays of raw talent.

World of Warcraft and StarCraft II players from around the world competed in the 2011 Regional Battle.net Invitationals to earn their places in the BlizzCon 2011 Global Invitational Tournament. Those players met in battle yesterday to determine who would advance to the second day of competition. Check out the ladder brackets on the BlizzCon 2011 Tournament page to find out what happened. We'll be updating that page in real time, so keep an eye on those brackets today to stay up-to-date on the tournaments as they progress.

The winners of those contests have advanced and will compete in today's matches leading up to the finals. With so much talent ready to rock, Day Two of the Global Invitational Tournament looks like it will be a real clash of titans, so don't miss a match. Be sure to download the BlizzCon 2011 Guide to your mobile device to help you find your way around the convention.
