Three Closed Beta Invites

Recently I received an email inviting me to closed beta for BC. Over in another topic (Customer Service, I think) there was a thread discussing whether we should be suspicious of these email invites.

When I first read the email, something about it just looked "hokey" to me. The fonts were strange, high lighted colors in odd places, and just not very professional looking in my opinion. The email had a bunch of information of course and also provided an activation key for the beta invite.

So, I made a post asking whether or not there was a way I could verify that the invite was legitimate without clicking on the link. Obviously, with all the hacking these days I'm leery to say the least. Anyway, a GM moderator responded saying that the email that was copied and pasted in the forum (links and key edited out of course) looked legitimate but prefaced that by saying he/she could not guarentee that the links were safe.

My question was, how can I be certain that the email portion of the invite isn't just a copy and paste of an actual invite with the links and key code altered by some ass hat trying to steal your account info?

Fast foward to today, and to date I have received (3) invites to open beta. So, my new question is this. Isn't there only (1) invite per account? If so, then I would have to assume that all of the invites I got are scams, yes?

If anyone knows the answer, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Looks like you got the help you needed, but I am going to lock this just so it doesn't turn in to a begging thread.

Welcome to the beta.
