My account was just hacked for a second time within a month.
I have done every scan and search available to me every day since the first time. There is still nothing coming up on my computer.
I am fully convinced that this has not been a result of my doing. It is impossible for it to have been from my computer. No one has ever known my password, and it was a fresh one I just created. I have never used this password anywhere else.
I want to know if it possible to request a search for possibilities of my account information being gotten from your side, not mine. I have been hearing a lot of things recently, including stories of GMs getting fired for this type of thing. I'd like to know statistics...how many times have there been failed login attempts on my account? Has my e-mail been changed at all (which I know customer service can do, as I asked them to do it for me recently).
I know it isn't my fault this time. After a month, I am still recovering from lost items, mostly trade items that the specialist stated he could not recover. Do you realize how hard it is to remake a runed adamantite rod? :-/
This time they couldn't do as much, as I set it so my parental controls wouldn't let me on during times I'm normally didn't.
In addition, MULTIPLE friends, as soon as they noticed tried to contact GMs and Customer Service, who refused to do anything about it.
Thank you, anything you can inform me of will be helpful. Also, if it's possible to set it up so my account can only be accessed by IPs of my choosing, I'd appreciate it, but I don't think that has been implemented. I would also really like to change my account name. Thank you.
