Good job at killing more Warcraft heroes Bliz

You guys just looove to kill all the badasses don't you?

1. Illidan
2. Akama(This is incorrect, my apologies.)
3. Kael'Thas
4. Arthas(This is a given.)

Who's next? Tyrande? Thrall? Malfurion? But of course it's acceptable to kill them off if its for more purples! I mean, there's NOTHING wrong with killing off fan favorites that have pretty deep backstories just so people can get more phat lewtz. I have an idea, let's kill off all the heroes during WoTLK, you guys already seem hellbent on it.

Can you do us a favor and spare some of these heroes? How come all the ones who go insane/corrupted just haaave to be killed? I know originality is hard to pull off, but I don't think it'd be too hard to cart Kael'Thas and Illidan back to a prison after beating the ever loving **** out of them, instead of having one get killed off by some chick who had a closet fetish for him, then the other getting a fel crystal jabbed in his chest only for 5 no-names to beat him to death while he's waiting for some vicadin.

I can already see it now, Tyrande will be reaching for her hookah as 25 heroes dance around her and spit on her, only to be punted down a flight of stairs by Jaina, whom in a later patch dies in the hands of Thrall after she tries a darkened bonbon while pregnant with his kids. Of course Thrall rewards the heroes with some phat lewtz, then goes on a pimping spree.

If it wasn't obvious, I'm angry. :| Spare us some heroes to survive through this lulz-tastic lore in the game?

1. Yeah, but he had it coming.
2. He died? When and where?
3. It's not like he's a jolly good fellow looking for company.
4. huh?

Illidan was the primary hero of WC3:TfT. Why did he have it coming?

He was an important hero-class character, I'll give you that, but I think based on his motivations and goals he had it coming.

Vashj serves him. The only bad she does is sucking water out of lakes or something, and the only people that care about that are the Cenarion Expedition.

And without water, what will happen to the life that has survived in Outland?

I'm sorry to say Bornakk, as I have respect for you and the other Blue's but do you guys even know the lore?

1. Illidan.
He did what he did mainly for power and to win Tyrande, but he still went up against Arthas/The Lich king which is somewhat of a heroic deed, even if he allied with the Burning Legion he was partially also saving the races of Azeroth through this.
So how did he have his death coming? Of course by the end of this whole thing he's become insane, but he never had it coming, and if he did then so do a majority of the races on Azeroth.
Illidan is a villain, but he would have been better back in prison or atleast killed by Arthas as a slap in the face.

2. Akama, my apologies on this part, I was incorrect.

3. Kael'Thas
And yet he wasn't trying to kill everyone else. He sided with Illidan at the time because Illidan told him he had a cure for his races addiction. Being High Elf/Blood Elf leader, Kael wanted to save his race. Of course Illidan wasn't exactly capable of doing this, so here comes Kil'Jaden who offers the same thing, except seems more likely of pulling it off.

He isn't jolly, but he didn't deserve death for trying to save the remaining numbers of Blood Elves.

4. Arthas
While Arthas isn't exactly Arthas anymore, the Lich King/Arthas is a given death in WoTLK. You can't lie about that, everyone expects him to be slain and Arthas to maybe thank the heroes for freeing him from corruption that Frostmourne gave him.

What someone else said above is true, that response really angers me, because of all people I'd expect Blizzard employee's to atleast know the lore and understand where I'm coming from.

I do know the lore pretty well actually and I like discussing it as there are always different points of view you can take on things.

Illidan and Kael'thas, to me, are both controversial characters who have been shaped by their actions and the hard challenges they have gone up against. Are they completely evil beings? I would say no, but I see them as evil characters because of the distance they are willing to go to accomplish their goals. Both are willing to have whole continents (if not the whole world) destroyed to get what they want and for this people should fight them and take them down.

My main concern here is that Blizzard seems to be killing *everyone* off. Particularly characters from the other WarCraft games and/or novels/etc.

A list off the top of my head (of characters who were not created for WoW but you kill in WoW):
-Rend Blackhand
-Balnazzar
-Ragnaros
-Kel'Thuzad (who I suppose is not technically dead)
-Kargath Bladefist
-Teron Gorefiend (haven't been to BT, but I assume you do kill him there)
-Zuljin
-Lady Vashj
-Kael'thas
-Magtheridon
-Illidan
-Kalecgos
-Kil'jaeden
-Malygos
-Anub'arak (this one is not announced but come on, it's obvious he'll be in WotLK somewhere)
-Arthas

I'm going to leave off Archimonde as that's sort of a different situation and he was dead anyways :P

Now I'm not saying none of these guys deserved to die, but that's a decent sized list there. And certainly a few of them seem like iffy choices (i.e. why on earth are you guys killing Kalecgos and Malygos? And I still don't really understand the hate for the War 2 Horde heroes).

I just wonder if there will be anything left to fight when WarCraft 4 gets made (if that ever happens) :P

Some of these are guesses for sure, but understandable ones and we'll have to wait and see what happens regarding them.

But can you tell me how many of the beings on this list didn't exist/weren't known until Warcraft 3?

Incase you haven't figured it out by now, Blizzard kills off it's heros all the time and brings in new ones.

This happened in Warcraft 1, warcraft 2 and warcraft 3. There is no reason to believe the trend shouldn't or wouldn't continue into WoW.

Bring in new ones?? No way!
