when making my rogue I had to decide, go dwarf for stoneform and track treasure, or go for escape artist and +15 to engineering. i ended up going gnome because I thought escape artist is really good for pvp.

now, when 2.3 came out the changed the CD from 1 min to 1min 45secs so i said meh cant hurt that bad since other racials were not 1 min from my understanding.

now on world of raids i see this new thing saying escape artist has a chance to fail, CMON why blizz. just as I make my first gnome and get him to level 40, bam a nerf. i think im going to make a human lock just so they can nerf locks and perception(lol)

also, warrior and rogue gnomes have a useless racial.
Expansive Mind:
Increase Intellect by 5%.

now 2 of the 4 classes that can be gnome dont benefit from this racial.

I saw on draneis in BC that the spell casters had +spell hit and the physical damagers had + hit passive aura, because it would be unfair to the casters getting +hit and vise versa.

to fix this imbalance, something along the lines of +2% STR and +2% AGI combined racial for the rogues and warriors. thats not even remotely overpowered.

Edit: my bad didnt realize i wrote class vs race. fixed

Escape Artist has always had a chance to fail. It's a very small chance at 1%. This hasn't changed at all.

I'm not saying I doubt you but what I am saying is that I trust my 3 year WoW playing experience more than a blue poster about a certain game mechanic. I trust them about things that have been posted but I wish they would make sure they are 100% correct and not post something that is obviously false for those that have played gnomes for a long time. And as I said before if Blizzard would admit that they just recently added the failure mechanic I would be happy with that but until then I'm still set on the issue of them buffing EA to will of the forsaken and stoneform level. And about the troll berserking I already posted my stance on it.

This is information as confirmed by our QA Department after others had thought that there was a new nerf to Escape Artist. Should you be experiencing issues that show that the failure rate is much higher than you believe it should be, feel free to post a bug report on the Bug forums so they can look into it further.
