We see it nearly every day, people reminisce about the "good old days" of World of Warcraft. We can't help but join you in the memories, after all it's been nearly 7 years of them. There have been a lot of great events throughout the lifetime of the game and while not everyone stepped foot onto Azeroth at the same time, it doesn't mean that those memories (either near or far) are any less significant.

Whether it was a holiday event, a victory in a Raid Dungeon, an epic battle in an enemy city, or simply a night that you watched the moon rise over the plains of the Barrens, share your best memories since you joined us in this grand adventure.

*As always, please stay on topic, keep it constructive, and refrain from trolling or harassing anyone.

For me, I recall when I was as of yet, not working for Blizzard and heard about Warcraft being taken into the MMO space. I was, let's say, apprehensive about how the designers would be able to capture the essence of Warcraft and make it work as an MMO. I am happy to admit, that the first moment I made a character (a Night Elf during the alpha), I knew it was magic. The leaves floating down from above in Darnassus caught my attention from the start and walking into Orgrimmar for the first time, accentuated that I really was in Azeroth.

There are more memories I could share from there, but I'd have to write a book and it's not about me, is it?

What are your best or most favorite World of Warcraft memories or events?

Not sure if Night Elves were originally horde....

That wasn't meant to be "walking into Orgrimmar as a Night Elf". I'm sure that would have had a different memory attached, like running from the guards. ;)
