Q u o t e:
Our goal was to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, and we'd hoped to do so on the individual level—thus my original statement to submit an in-game petition. Unfortunately, further development of our work flow led back to the original issue at hand: "What are the requirements for the reception of such patterns and recipes?"
We're currently investigating this matter—quite avidly, to be brutally honest—and hope to reach a solid answer shortly; until then, we will be unable to directly assist any players who have not yet received Winter Veil patterns or recipes, as we must establish baseline requisites before providing such items to the public.
Once more, you have my most sincere apologies for leading you astray; nonetheless, our intent has not changed—we still wish to ensure that all those deserving of these patterns and recipes acquire them—though are method of "attack" has altered slightly for the time being.
Thank you so much for your patience. It's really quite appreciated. :)
Q u o t e:
What about leatherworking?
Q u o t e:
Syndri -- could you do us a huge favor and tell us what the eligibility requirements for receiving a pattern in the mail are?
Q u o t e:
So, are we supposed to sign this thread or petition a GM in game? Or just wait it out?
Q u o t e:
I have several characters that are lacking in recipes. Would it be acceptable for those who have many characters missing these recipes to send an email instead? I don't have the time to wait around on every single one of my characters with a GM petition...
Q u o t e:
Basically we were going to just mail them out at random but then we thought. Hey ppl will be pissed at that so now we have to come up w/ some criterion on the fly as to why we won't distribute FLUFF patterns fairly.
Q u o t e:
thanks Syndri. any updates are appreciated, even if that update is that we're still waiting on QA:)
Q u o t e:
Perhaps you can answer a question then. Previous posts have indicated that you (you being the dev team as a whole, not necessarily you individually) are attempting to establish the criteria for the recipes. Given that the recipes were already mailed out once, shouldn't the criteria already be established?
Q u o t e:
Why is it a busy time?
Largely because people want to do the holiday events and items, and here is one of the chief such aspects of the game not functioning in time for those holidays.
