Anyone heard of someone being hacked while online but AFK?

I let auctioneer do it's scan while I made a sandwich....upon return, I found myself missing 7.5k...

I was still logged in, just [away]..

Sigh..like it's not even that much, but I just don't understand how someone hacks you while you're online?

Anyone?

If you were still online, then you weren't compromised remotely. Do you live with someone who may have tampered with your character while you were away from the screen? Did you perhaps accidentally make an auction house purchase that you didn't intend to make?
