Catches strange things?

We've notified the engineers that worked on the various lifts in Outland that they have to abide by stricter safety codes on future projects. In the meantime, the current lifts are not expecting any sort of upgrade or retrofitting, so please use these with caution.

How many times has the Undercity elevator killed you neth?

Just once and then we had a little heart to heart. We're on good terms now.

Neth, to be clear, we arent talking about deaths from their use.

we are talking about mobs and NPCs getting stuck on them. last time i went through telredor, there were about 5 of the marshfang ripper things, and 4 or 5 guards stuck on it and in its travel path.

I'll make sure to report this. We'll see if perhaps we can do something to ward off creatures from getting stuck in them. I'm sure it has to be distressing for the Outland Animal Protection Agency as well.

I have confirmation that there is a fix going in with the next patch that should help correct the pathing issues around those elevators.

Can that help with the guards in UC, too? Lately they have been bugging out when... *ahem* unwelcome guests arrive. I've seen some appear behind the guild people as the elevator goes up and down but mostly they just turn sideways and stare into it as if transfixed ( I keep seeing Homer Simpson saying "Bed goes up. Bed goes down." when I see them like that).

I believe it's meant to apply to any elevator pathing issues that are occurring. Please be sure to report any further anomalies after we release the patch so we can continue to track down these issues if they continue.
