Yesterday at 11h40 PM eastern time, my account was suspended for asking (repetedly) that a spammer who was running around me, calling me a #@@ (with whispers).

I had reported the spammer at 11h00, 40 mins later, he was still running around me, caling me a #@@.

Like i said, at 11h40, my right to inform my fellow gamers of a sexual harrasment was removed when my right to talk (say, whisper, yell) was removed.

Yet, by 1am, that is 2 hours later, the verbal aggressions where going on.

A few question comes to mind :

1) What is Blizzard policies against spamming ? Obviously, it didnt apply to the person harrasing me.
2) What is Blizzard stand on sexual harrasment ? Why did they let that go on for 2 hours.
3) Why is it obviously the victim that's excluded and not the agressor. Does Blizzard supports that kind of behavior ?

What i'm expecting

1) I'm expecting a rapid, serious and full coperation from Blizzard to help me track down the suspected criminal (yes sexual harassment is a crime, at least here in Montréal).
2) Whatever support i get from Blizzard , i keep my full rights to sue or to take any individual or group juridic action against Blizzard and the suspected criminal
3) I'm asking that, after a full intern inquiry the suspected criminal is asked either :
a) Make public excuses to me and all other players he might have offended

OR

b) That he is PERMANENTLY excluded from WOW (and not just the 5 minutes necessary to crate a fake account)

My excuses to any readers that went so far, english isnt my main langage, i'm trying to make it as clear and understable within the limits of my mastery of english.

I apologize for the obvious distress this has caused you, Archange, but I do not see any petitions submitted by this character.

What you are describing although spam, would be considered harassment and therefore the right click, Spam Report option would not be how you should be reporting this.

Please submit a petition reporting the characters name and the approximate time this occurred and one of our Game Masters will look into the issue.

I'm not editing it out again, Archange, please do not use inappropriate language on these forums. Just like in the game we still have our Terms of Use and Code of Conduct.

Goodness, is this still going?

Real name or not, Archange, the information I have provided is accurate.

Blue text, as the others here have told you are only given to Blizzard Employees.

You will not receive a real name or a phone number as this issue is not handled through our Billing or Technical Support Departments (that only phone numbers we have available).

Unless you were reporting on an alternate account, you never submitted a petition. In order to report someone for harassment you must click the red question mark in the low right hand side of your screen and report the name of the person and the time this offense occurred.

We have our own methods of dealing with players who violate our Terms of Use, these are methods that you agreed to abide by when you signed up for an account. You will not be provided with any information as this issue does not fall under your jurisdiction.

Feel free to have your attorney contact our legal team if you wish, or perhaps they can explain the Terms of Use and End User License Agreement to you.
