Can we get "good" looking items in WotLK?

In looking through the Warcraft Lore, human knights and paladins are seen with regalic looking weapons and armor. Very virtuous-like and truly what a defender of the good and upholder of honor would wield.

However, the artists in WoW must all be depressed emo non-conformists-but-yet-conforming-to-each-other types, because it seems as if every item in the game that's worth using looks dark, evil, and disturbing. I'm sick of using "Dark Evil Doomhammer of Despair and Death" for my Paladin that's supposed to be righteous and virtuous. The only thing that looks good are the old Alliance PvP weapons, but they're useless now compared to the new arena weapons, which once again look gothic and evil.

I know some people are gonna reply to this and say "RPers lawl" but I pay to play a character that I want to look a certain way and I'm sick of seeing swords and hammers all sharing the same three gothic looking models with different skins. Give us something different, please.

Weapons and items will be suitable for the expansion and like anything else will be designed to fit within the expansion.

Beyond that, I couldn't guarantee a trend toward "good" items so much as say that items serve the purpose they are given whether it is good or evil. Not every hero carries a gleaming sword that shines like the sun. Some have carried things that seemed counter to their very nature and yet still succeeded in achieving their lofty goals for a better end.

For now, we'll have to wait and see what the artists have cooked up when the time comes.
