Hello. I was wondering if anyone could answer a question I have.

I am looking to get my kids into WoW as well.
If I want to set up more than one account do I need to buy the full version of WoW and the BC?
In other words , same household , want more than one account so we can all play at same time.
I need to buy the full versions of these or is there an easier /cheaper way to make other accounts?
Use a trial version and add a game card ? Or do you need to pay to upgrade trial account and addd game time as well?

Sorry for the confusing way I am asking this question but it seems a little pricy and a little silly to need to buy 3-4 full sets of WoW/BC in order to have my kids and I play at same time.

In short , whats the fastest/cheapest way to have multiple accounts under same last name/household?

Q u o t e:
This reply is for the Blizzard poster, I hope I did it right!
In my household we have 2 trial accounts going right now and both want to keep our characters. Does this mean we both have to buy the software (i.e. buy twice) or is there a way to start 2 new accounts with one software purchase & keep the characters from both trials?
Otherwise, can I start 2 new accounts under one name & transfer the characters from the other persons' trial onto their new account (OK if this costs $$$).

Thanks

In order to keep the characters on both accounts, you will need to establish 2 separate accounts. To create 2 accounts, you will need to acquire 2 copies of the World of Warcraft. You will be able to transfer these characters (provided they they meet transfer requirements) as you see fit; however, please keep in mind that only the registered owner and (1) minor dependent are able to access any one account legitimately. Depending on who will be playing the accounts, it may be necessary for you to keep the two accounts separate.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
