Please please please listen to us when we tell you to remove CD's at the start of a duel, just like you do for the start of an arena match. I hate waiting 4 minutes for another duel. We have been requesting this for EVER!

Sorry, that could be exploited with ridiculous ease, I'm afraid. Not on the docket.

Not trying to troll, be sarcastic or anything, but how could that be exploited?

The cooldowns exist for a reason. If you could clear cooldowns with a duel, it would be extremely easy, for example, to do things like use your cooldowns, then duel a partner, /concede, then use those cooldowns again making the cooldown periods meaningless.

Could the CD's be "saved"? As in clear them for the duel and then after they start off where they left.

If you wanted to get deep into it, there are a lot of ways to work around it, but given how players have been happily dueling for years without issue, it doesn't seem like a good focus for development time when there's so much else to do. And, as is often the case, such a change would be a much larger undertaking than you'd expect.

Speaking personally, I dueled while key cooldowns were unavailable anyway to hone my skills. I found many situations in BGs and arenas where I needed to accomplish something without critical cooldowns, and learning to cope without them helped me learn techniques I might not have explored otherwise.
