Disable Paid Character Transfer Now!

I have been trying to transfer a character all day. I get as far as entering the credit card information and when I select "submit" I get an error message "Error Encountered! Sorry, but there has been an error with your request"

I tried this over and over with three different credit cards with no success. After reading another thread, I took a look at one of my online statements.

I have been charged $1.00 15 different times on ONE of the credit cards. I cannot verify any other activity on the other two, but more than likely there are another 15 charges on each of these cards as well.

Blizzard please disable this transfer service before it gets any worse.

This is going to be an accounting nightmare as I have probably been charged $45.00 instead of $1.00 for the initial verification.

If you have any concerns regarding charges made on your credit card as a result of the Paid Character Transfer service, Holyhanky, I would strongly recommend that you contact our Billing Department at your earliest convenience during normal business hours (9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific time, Monday through Friday) for further assistance. In the meantime, I'd like to consolidate these issues into one thread, namely the one linked below. Please feel free to add your insights there, if you wish. In the meantime, I'll be locking this. Thanks for your understanding. :)
