Just an idea. Wouldn't it be awesome to have a lottery once a week or month where players could purchase lottery tickets within the game for a chance to win something like a rare mount such as Ashes of Al'ar or a newly designed legendary piece of gear?

Well, it's not quite that fancy, but you can win some cash from a
Fortune Card. Scribes make them and frequently post them on the auction house.
