Can't join a guild

Ok here's my problem. Im trying to get my tauren Druid into a guild but when my friend tries to invite me it tells her that Im already in a guild. Ive never been in a guild with this toon and I already put in a ticket about it. What Id like to know is why did this happen. Any ideas? Any way to keep it from happening in the future?

Wasnt on a starter account, just a different server from my alliance toons. I also have a Naharonko on my alliance.


Did you get it figured out, Naharonko? I see your in a guild now but I'm not sure if that is the one you intended to be in or the one that is preventing you from joining another one.
