Localized Strings

This afternoon we deployed an update that includes the ability to retrieve character and guild information for a specific locale. By using the "locale" query string parameter you can view things like character titles or item names in the specified language.

Please note that the locales available within the API are limited to those available on the regional World of Warcraft community sites.

The following locale values can be used in our regions:

us.battle.net

• en_US
• es_MX

eu.battle.net

• en_GB
• es_ES
• fr_FR
• ru_RU
• de_DE

kr.battle.net

• ko_kr

tw.battle.net

• zh_TW
