Why was my post deleted..

I know that if I duplicate the post it is a violation of the forum terms of service, so I will suffice to say I recently made a thread about the viability of PvE frost mages and I just noticed it was deleted.

I put a lot of effort into that post and I did not violate any forum ToS that I was aware of so... what's the deal?

I dunno if the moderators can do private support messages or anything but I'm just a little confused as I had intended it to be a post for constructive criticism as, after searching, I was not able to find any threads addressing the issues I mentioned.

Any direction here would be helpful as I am thoroughly bewildered as to what I did wrong.

Hello Druid,

Most of the post was fine except for the insertion of two inappropriate or obscene words that triggered the language filter. Inappropriate Language ( http://us.battle.net/en/community/conduct#language )

Unfortunately that didn't leave us with much leeway, necessitating its removal.

One thing to keep in mind, the forums are always "on" and posts with inappropriate language could be seen by anyone at any time if that were the case.

A repost without those elements would be fine in this instance.

And that is why we generally advise against discussions of forum moderation.
