gem and enchant ids

We can't look these up to check yet, so I'm wondering: are these ids just itemids, or do they refer to a different table? It looks like gem ids are just item ids, but enchant ids may not be.

For character items, the id associated with gems is the item ID of the gem. For enchantments, it is the enchantment id (not the spell id).
