Cannot loot Rivendere in Stratholme (Classic)

Hi, I was just wanting to get a few mount runs in this afternoon. ll has been well and good up to the point where Baron Rivendere's corpse hits the floor.

Said corpse is all sparkly and tantalizing in it's clickableness, however, when I try to loot, the game behaves as though there is some level 88 Raid Boss powered lag behind it. I've sat there for upwards of 15 minutes waiiting for the loot to appear, to no avail.

Reporting lag with the button doesn't help, of course. And if I kill somthing else in the area, I can loot it just fine. It's just been Rivendere so far, thrice.

Forgot to add, I've tried relogging, disabling addons, rename the cache folder. etc to no avail.

Have you tried resetting your User Interface, Karhaani? I just checked it and had no issues in looting the Baron (no mount dropped). It could be an issue with your UI or it could be that you are out of sync with the game which is preventing you from looting.

Edit: For peace of mind the mount did not drop in the three runs you did.
