Digital pre-order and a copy of Collectors ed

No this isn't a digital colelctors edition :P i'm wondering if i am to buy a copy of the digital pre-order so i can play the game straight away will i be able to apply my collectors edition that i have to wait two days to get and still get my pet?

I'd really like to play at 12:01 but i don't wanna risk loosing my collectors =/

A Collector's Edition can be added "over" an existing regular edition, which includes the digital pre-order. However, be aware that this will eat up BOTH codes, so you won't be able to re-use the one on your pre-order anywhere else.

It works more as an "overwrite" than a "replacement," if that makes sense. >^.^<
