Race Changes???

I was wondering if I were to pay for a race change lets say a week before cataclysm's release, could I just let it sit there on my login screen till release so i could just race change to a goblin? I want to be able to switch right away and I have a feeling they will be over overwhelmed on release

The short answer is yes. =)

There are no restrictions preventing you from initiating a race change/faction change transaction now and using it once Cataclysm launches.
