Long time Customer seeking information.

Hi There Blizz,

I am currently playing on Shattered Hand as a horde character. I've played this game since day one and have enjoyed ALMOST every minute I've spent in game.... until about 5 months ago. Seeing as how you put in all of these new Que's for people to join bg's and dungeons etc.. there has been a severe lack in World pvp, which for me is the only thing that keeps me playing this game. And now that Cat is on it's way and there will now be flying mounts in all of azeroth I fear world pvp will be all but gone forever.

My question to you is (in order to better my experience) I am looking transfer my horde characters from my current server which is ridiculously unbalanced in favor of the horde, to a server (EST) that is either more evenly balanced or alliance heavy. Since I have no way to look this information up myself I was wondering if you could direct me to a server that could make my experience more fulfilling.

I hope you can give me the information I seek, otherwise my journey might end at the lich king. (which I'm sure doesn''t matter to anyone lol)

I'm happy to give an answer, and would very much like to keep you enjoying WoW, but we do not release specific statistics like the ones you're asking for. Whether we are talking about numbers of active players, accounts, faction balance, or any other slice of data, these is enough fluctuation and too many different ways to interpret the numbers. Putting this kind of detail out could mislead players and negatively affect realm balance as much as it could help.

With this in mind, realm selection is up to players to determine for themselves. Clearly you've already done a fair amount of research, and (along with some of the suggestions from the helpful people above this post) that's about all we can recommend for you officially here. Keep reporting abusive language, too-- our moderators are working hard to keep the boards clean.

On the note of World PvP, there is bound to be some renewed interest in this with the soon-to-be-reinvented Azeroth, bringing many players back to familiar territory. There's also the new World PvP zone, Tol Barad:

One player to another, it might be worth waiting on the transfer, and seeing whether the new content itself might be enough for you to find new enjoyment in your experience at home on Shattered Hand.
