Chat problems

Since downloading the patch today my party chat no longer displays in the chat display box. Yes I did make sure I did not accidentally uncheck the display party chat box. I even tried making a chat tab just for party chat to see if it was a bug with my general text tab. I can see text bubbles above their heads when they talk but not in the text box. Not even my own party text. No I have no recently installed or updated any addons so I'm fairly sure that isn't the issue. Any ideas? Thanks

You don't necessarily need to change anything on your end for this to be a UI issue if something changed on our end, Trollïn.

I'd recommend a full reset UI and test this prior to readding ANY addons into the mix. Some recent chat issues do seem to be connected to various addons.

To do a full reset UI, you will want to save your addons in another spot if you wish to preserve them.

Then rename/delete or move your WTF, Cache and Interface folders while WoW is shutdown. Reboot your system.

Note, if you are running Vista make sure your permissions are set so it does not undo your changes.
