Upset at Amazon and Blizzard.

I'm very excited. For this expansion. SO much so, that I preordered the Collector's Edition when news first hit the stands of its existence. Or at least, I meant to.

Shortly after my preorder, I received a mail with an Order number... but my orders on my Amazon page were empty! I figured it was because the product's release date wasn't in yet. Fine, I gave it a few weeks. Decided to call Amazon and figure what the heck was going on when I received a mail to confirm my order (with the same order number and everything) but with an empty Order box on Amazon.

The guy told me what I expected to hear... wasn't in yet, and I indeed have an order pending. Re-assured, I let the issue lay low...until October, when the last date to confirm it came about. Again, my Order box was empty. Called Amazon, and went through the same deal. I was told that they don't know when they expect the CEs, and they will fill my Order box up and charge me once it arrives.

It's 5 weeks to the game. Blizzard has already begun selling Digital copies. My Amazon box is empty. I'm annoyed. I don't know who's bungling up - Amazon? Blizzard?

I'm seeking some re-assuring words, and possible advice on what to do next.

Actually, Khelekh, we have been selling the digital upgrade. This allows accounts that are appropriately upgraded to download the Cataclysm data as it becomes available. In order for the various retail establishments to have received the retail version of the game what must take place first is the DVD's with the final Cataclysm data needs to be made they would also need to print the manuals and other information for packaging. This doesn't usually happen for a video game until the finalized version is determined.

If you have purchased the product and Amazon has confirmed that purchase then you will receive it according to their shipping agreement with you. Don't worry, Khelekh, we have done this before. :)
