SO yea. On my character select screen, anytime I log back in after a disconnect, a random toon from my list will be missing, and the error message in the title is in it's place.
I have 10 characters on my realm, 2 of which are placeholders. Just a minute ago, my shaman was missing. If I clicked on the error message, my shaman appeared, but I could not enter the game.
I had to exit and restart to fix it. I'm not sure what's causing it, but I'm wondering if this is something I should worry about or not? :S
This is very odd because I don't even see a potential 11th character on Garrosh - or any other realm for that matter, on this account.
Just to be on the safe side, when was the last time you tried a full reset UI. That may or may not have any impact on this, but I'd give it a try anyway. Really can't hurt, and may indeed help.
To do a full reset UI, you will want to save your addons in another spot if you wish to preserve them.
Then rename/delete or move your WTF, Cache and Interface folders while WoW is shutdown. Reboot your system.
Note, if you are running Vista make sure your permissions are set so it does not undo your changes.
