Battle.net Account Locked - Action Required

I am relatively quite new to WoW & although I'm impressed with this game, I am absolutely infuriated that my account has been locked every day for the past 3 days. My husband and I share a wireless 3G broadband router & he experiences the same problem on his own account. I can understand that the lockout is possibly due to this, but we will never have a static ip address with our internet service. I can only imagine others out there who play away from home, using wireless also having to put up with this irritating issue. Can a blue please look into this issue?

Today as I received the same e-mail saying that my account has once again been locked & once again, will I please change my password, I clicked on the link to reset my password only to find that the SITE IS DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE. I am annoyed that Blizzard could treat its customers this way.

I'm afraid there is not much we can do via forums, Pum.

While I understand your frustration, security features such as this one have been implemented to protect accounts from unauthorized access. Unfortunately if your 3G connection is making you appears as if you were connecting from home one minute and connecting from somewhere else another, there is little we can do as 3G connections are not officially supported.

Keep in mind that the location from where you are connecting from is not the only factor. I recommend contacting our billing and account services team and discuss this issue with them. With additional account verification, they may be able to help reduce the amount of times you are locked.

Additionally, you may want to look into getting an authenticator on your account.
