As Pahanda mentioned, we will typically ask for ID verification if we were not able to verify that you are the registered owner.
Was the ID requested by someone in our Billing and Account services team? Unfortunately I was not able to find any record of a call or e-mail.
Can you give me the name and realm of a character on the account in question?
