i think my email got stolen and someone is trying to change my account, i got this email today:

Hello,

Blizzard Entertainment recently received a request to change the e-mail address used to log in to the Battle.net account with the username <my email/account name>. The e-mail address k***@hotmail.com has been specified as the new username for this Battle.net account. An email has been sent to this new address containing a verification link to complete the change.

Once the new address has been verified, the e-mail address can no longer be used to log in to this Battle.net account or any World of Warcraft accounts merged with this Battle.net account.

If you did not initiate this request, please click here to contact the Blizzard Billing & Account Services team immediately.

Sincerely,
The Battle.net Account Team

As others have mentioned, Darkeningsky, this is more than likely a phishing attempt.

I have listed valuable information below. Feel free to browse through as it will help you be aware and alert about common phishing scams.

==============================================
  • Computer security, should be a top priority. If your computer is infected with a keylogger, your account information can get out regardless of how creative your password is. Run multiple virus scans and remember that there isn't a single anti virus program that will catch every single virus out there.

  • After securing your computer, change the password associated to your battle.net account and personal e-mail account. Make sure your battle.net password is completely different than your e-mail password.

As we continue to promote account security we are starting to see more and more phishing e-mails. Make sure you know how to spot a fake e-mail.
