Guild naming

I started a guild with my brother 2 months or so ago. I recruit on and off. Last night another guild leader told me I had 2 choices.. 1) change my guild name 2) get a GM to change it for him... The problem was that the name of his guild is similar to mine... I didn't know his guild existed prior to this conflict ... I want to know what others and a GM think of this and how it should be solved.

We will not force a guild name to be changed simply because it is similar to another guild name, Kreielan. As long as the guild name is not being used to harass other players or violates the ToS, you will be fine.

If you feel it necessary, you can open a ticket requesting the guild name to be changed. Typically guild names are not changed by for vanity purposes, but it does not hurt to try. :)
