Hi, i just recently tried to transfer a character from one account to another now i thought they were both in my name but apparently when my fiance made the one she played on she didn't really listen when i told her to make it in my name.. And now she has decided she doesn't want to play anymore..

I could see this happening which is why I told her to make it in my name in the first place as it was only really a trial to see if she liked the game.. So as not to let an account I pay for go to waste with only a lvl 60 druid on it, i thought I'd transfer only to find the a fore mentioned surprise..

Now I know blizzard is strict on the account - account transfers but seeing as Its in her name and we can provide all the info needed to prove its her and such is there anyway I can get this transferred? I mean the druid is only lvl 60 the only character on there beside a lvl 16 shammy and they have maybe 170g between them both, so its nothing sus and as I said we can provide all information needed.

I just don't want to let a perfectly good lvl 60 druid go to waste that i helped her make and payed for.. only because the silly account rules.. It would be a waste to just let it die off on an account that will never be played again..

Is there anything that can be done?

She actually set this up properly if it was her account.

Even as a spouse and not a fiance, this is the correct way to setup accounts of two adults.

The account owner is determined by the name the account is under, not who is paying for the account which is a common misconception.

If she decides to return, barring of course a compromise from malware or social engineering in her absence, her account should be just as she left it and she can pick up from where she left off.

There is one singular exception to sharing an account and that is one minor child and one parent/guardian per account which can be amended at a later date when the child reaches majority.
