I keep getting emails from this email address [email protected] almost everyday saying somthing on my
account has changed and i havnt even been to site. I upgraded my account the other day to cataclysm and got a confirmation email from same email. so not sure if its legit or not.

It sounds like you are getting hit with phishing attempts, e-mails that are not actually from Blizzard Entertainment but rather are doctored to attempt to gain your account information. I would suggest reading over the following sticky: (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=965511383&sid=1).

There you will find some tips on spotting a fake e-mail, we even provide instructions on how to check the header of an e-mail to help see where the e-mail is originating. Let me know if you have any other questions or need clarification on any portion of that post. :0)
