"Your name has been flagged for rename"

Yesterday, I did a server transfer and faction change on this character. I had previously created a lvl 1 character on Tichondrius by the same name to save it so that no one else would have the possibility of taking it. After transferring this toon to Tich, I deleted the lvl 1 and named this character "Zonin." Then, when I tried to log onto it, I got the message that it had been flagged for a rename. I have yet to even log on to the character, so there's no way it could have been reported.

Do I just have to rename my character, or is there a way to keep the name I currently have?
