Authenticator Removal Fail after I was hacked

Hello, my main account got hacked.
I waited 39 mins on the phone to talk to a blizzard rep, then they hung up, I recalled and waited another 35 minutes then I talked to a very nice lady.

My account was recovered to me but she forgot to remove the authenticator that was not setup by me.

Now on this recovery page it says

https://us.battle.net/account/support/password-reset.html

Here are some common signs:

- My password has been working fine until now
- There is an authenticator attached to the account, but I didn’t attach one
- My account got banned and I don’t know why
- I’ve reset my password recently but it’s not working

Do these signs apply to you? We can help.

Click the button below to start the Account Recovery process. We will help get these issues resolved as soon as we can.

I started the recovery process and all that happened was reset of password, the authenticator is still on there.

Is there a way you can remove it already so I can log on and start the GM ticket procedures already since my character isnt armoryable anymore?

The password reset is an automatic part of process when you first fill out the Recovery form, Thelf, the Authenticator removal should be done as the matter is investigated. You also do not need to log in to start the procedures as that is again, part of the recovery process started by the Recovery form.

I'm sorry that our Billing Rep was unable to remove the Authenticator when you spoke with them.

Make sure you check your system, if they were able to place an Authenticator on the account it means they also had access to your registered e-mail address.
