First 30 Days Free?

Hello,
When I wanted to upgrade my trial account the page it brought me to said that with my upgrade (19.99) I also get to play for free for the first 30 days. When I tried to upgrade it said that online upgrading was currently offline.

Since that upgrade was through worldofwarcraft.com I decided to to try on battle.net instead. This time I was able to upgrade but I don't think I'm getting the first 30days free. Is there anyway to take advantage of this deal?

It doesn't matter if you did it on line or bought the box set in a store.

You only get this free time for a new game account (the basic game), you do not get it for upgrading to any of the expansions.
