Deactivating Authenticator

Hello
My girlfriend asked me to post this, since she can't get on.

She forgot her authenticator, and can't play this weekend. Is there any way to temporarily deactivate an authenticator, so she can get on this weekend? If so, how do you do it?

Thank you for your time.

If your girlfriend forgot her authenticator and she would like to remove it so she can play this weekend, she would need to contact Account Services by phone. She would need to be able to properly verify the account in order for the representative to remove it verbally over the phone. She may wish to make sure she has the authentication keys available when she phones as they may be required for verification purposes.

Q u o t e:
She is unable to call the billing department out of technical reasons.

If you don’t mind me asking, what sort of technical reasons are you referring to?

I offered the phone method to remove the authenticator since your original post sounded as though she wanted to play over the weekend, Taurnock. She may be able to remove the authenticator through email or even by fax, but this process can take significantly longer, so she may not be able to play this weekend if she decides to go this route.
