Realm showing incorrect time zone?

We're raiding right now in Hyjal and everyone just noticed it. Arthas is an Eastern server and I live in New York. It's right now 2 AM but in game, it's showing server time as 1AM.

Is this a bug?

It is entirely possible that instance times may not be the same as your home realm.
