Sorry if this is the wrong place, but feel its the best place to get the correct answer.

All these account compromises going on, mostly talking about key loggers.

Is there ANY way for a hacker to find out your password, in Anything if your password is copied from say a notepad and pasted to log in?
But NEVER actually typed to log in except that one single time in the notepad.

All these keylogger complaints, common sense tells me its the safest way if your 100% secure when typing that password out that One time in the notepad and copied and pasted from that point on.

yes even for emails and anything else, which I do as well.

and yes I know its not safe if the ppl around you know of it tho.

and yes I already have an authenticator but yet to put it on until I get my daughters account removed from my Bnet as she does not stay with me to use it as well.
So that is not under discussion.

thank you :)

Once upon a time, long long ago - copy and pasting information helped defeat keyloggers.

Keyloggers are a bit of a misnomer in this day and age, they can easily see the contents of a clipboard, so no - that wouldn't defeat one.

Your authenticator is by far your best defense for your WoW account - coupled with regular scanning and good safety habits.
