This issue somewhat relates to blizzard I will do my best to explain it clearly for you :)

Ok so on Tuesday, 9 November 2010 7:07:03 PM

I get a email from a company called Aeria Games (showed up in junk mail) I didnt think much of it but I was curious to what this email was about as its subject was Aeria Games Registration Completion Information for <deleted this part will explain why soon>

Now I have never heard of this company before so I ignored it untill later that night I got another email from them with the subject Notification of account banned for <deleted this part will explain later> at Admin‏ at Wednesday, 10 November 2010 12:09:11 AM

Ok so I was confused by all of this never once registering nor going to there site somehow I was signed up and banned from them. But whats weird is they used a certain combination of Username and Password ONLY used for my RAF account that I had for the rocket <This is where I explain the deleted parts> Now blizzard is able to see that I RAF'd with myself a few months ago using this account and another <removed> so you should be able to see what password I used for that <removed> one anyways the removed part of my post was the username set up on this Aeria games site which happens to be the password for my <removed> account and the password used for there site happened to be <removed> Now I am very careful about my computer useage so I scanned my pc numerous times after getting the 2nd email nothing came up this time. I also do not visit any suspect sites.

However in the past I have had my bank details stolen via keylogger (ever since then I kept my computer clean. This situation is under control) so I am wondering if this could be linked some how.

So my situation is should I be worried that this Aeria Games was able to get ahold of info only used for a blizzard service?

Is this Aeria Games legit or some kind of scam site or phishing site for something wow related but hiding behind the notion of being another site. Google hasnt turned up too much on my searches so I am not too sure if I need to do another computer lock down for a few hours while I do a restore.

Hopefully this isnt too wall of text for you guys.

Never heard of them, although there is an entry on Wikipedia.

I really can't comment. One reason it's best to never reuse passwords or mix things up with passwords and account names in various places is because if the 'bad guys' do get ahold of an email and password combination they WILL try it, whether or not you are even a WoW player.

I would recommend a good system scan - and making sure your email account is secure. Your authenticator should keep them out of your account with us, but shady sites will do their best to install malware on your system. I've no idea about this company in particular, but regular scanning should be a habit everyone develops :)
